I have always had a passion for architecture or more precisely from what I remember when I was a kid, by the design ofcontemporary homes and buildings.
As I grow up in the south of France in the 70’s and 80’s, precisely in Marseille, I was struck by the Housing unit designed by Le Corbusier. After World War 2 the need of housing was growing and Le Corbusier was one of the architects trying to solve this problem. He designed something which was considered futuristic at that time, a building with all the amenities you could imagine needing such as a convenient store, a postal office, a school…
There was a lot of controversy about the design of this building, not everybody liked it, but I loved did. It was so different in term of design compared to other buildings. From that time I realized that you can have different tastes.
As everyone, I consider that the purpose of a house is to protect you and your family from the elements and fulfill your needs in terms of size, amenities, location and price. In addition to that, I think that a house needs to fit your style and taste, not only with what you will see inside but also how it looks from the outside. As an owner, looking at your home should be a source of enjoyment not something you should be ashamed of.
I have spent many years studying and educating myself by visiting mid-century and contemporary architectural landmarks in the U.S and around the world.
I spend an extensive time searching and selecting exceptional architect homes in New Jersey. If you are looking for a contemporary or a mid-century home in New Jersey it can be a challenge, but I can help you locate the best home for your needs and tastes.
